I hate the M9 in that color. The M8 looks good in Gunmetal Grey but the M9 does not. I think they both look best in silver though. Gold phones are just weird.
HTC has always fell short of Samsung since the M7. The M7 was a good phone but it had build quality issues and the camera was terrible. The M8 was a improvement but still fell short. It didn't have anything special about it. The M9 is the same way. It's got nothing that sets itself apart. It doesn't have a great camera. They could have made the screen a little larger (5.2 inches) the camera could have been much better. Again HTC falls short of Samsung and the M9 suffers from the same issues that the M7 and M8 did. The desire eye looked like it could've been a cool phone because it had character ( excluding the large front facing camera ) HTC could've done better and needs to do better if they want to stay in the game.
Being a Galaxy S flagship fan boy, this years s6 dissapointed me alot, great screen and all but no more external memory, they took away water proof and yes I know its "secretly water proof" but that's due to its unibody design with most unibody phones now a days are "secretly water proof" but it truly ain't if the camera and speakers get damaged if you do so. It also dissapointed me with the whole double sided gorilla glass design as I think of a past mistake that apple did by having this same lux look with their old iPhone 4 were it was a MAJOR issue as people bitched on how either side would cracked or both sides would in dropping incidents, no good, would had thought they were going for a full aluminum body instead of just the frame, no removable better wasn't an issue to me since most of the carriers now a days offer insurance for your device so let's say if the battery screwd then you'll get a whole new device replacement then just a battery, Thus to this, I decided to go for the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" HTC One m9. Yes I loose a better camera, and yes I loose HD quad, but nevertheless I'm fascinated with the speed of this phone. No lagg or glitch as I have had with my past Galaxy S's when going crazy with many opened apps but to be fare its still new and maybe so I'll be seeing some glitch later on. Still happy for my change of phone brand this year. Hopefully Samsung delivers back those functions taken away with their next Galaxy S flagship….fingers crossed #S7
If there is anything I hate, I hate pointless and biased reviews. This dude spent phone around and said a lot while saying nothing. The moment he picked up the HTC his entire demeanor changed. I clicked because I want a honest and unbiased review, not someone who allows their preference to ruin the credibility of the review.nor whatever that was.
…this review is so one sided…for one, I am buying it just cause of the sound of M9 and it's Sense not Touchwiz (always lags after extended use)
I hate that people complain about them throttling the CPU to prevent it from "overheating". A 2.5 GHz chip with EIGHT cores is going to get hot. Eight cores is way more than necessary. And it's also an aluminum body, and aluminum is a better conductor of heat than glass and plastic. People seriously find the dumbest things to complain about.
K think you are just being biased and making extremely minor features the m9 lacks as if they are the purpose of phones
I mean even though I always theme my devices, I hate touchwiz, because its just disgusting. Before anyone says that I'm being biased, I'm using a galaxy s4 right now.
I don't even know why I decided to watch this video. All that is talked about is specs. I don't want to listen to a comparison that only reads me the specs. What about the daily use? The software differences?
Decided to go with the M9. Why? For the experience. I have an m7 and I was leaning towards the s6 edge for the display and camera. But if I trade of the beauty of Sense, the cold feel in my hand whenever I pick it up in the morning, the greatest speakers on a phone, and all the files and memories in my PC that I can enjoy through my phone via SD card, I'll go M9.
Don't get me wrong, S6 is great and probably better. But I just don't want new right now, I don't wanna trade off what phone feels 'me' for a phone that just wows me and I'll end up missing my fav features. (The only trade off is the camera but it's not super terrible I can live with it)
HTC Fell off
You can tell about 1 minute into the video he has a hard on and is bias toward the S6.
"Pretty much the best display you will ever see in a phone."
"Pretty much the most premium smart phone ever made."
I took the same photos in store by both the M9 and S6. The M9 performed better everytime. I don't know why they are hating on the camera so much. I will say the S6 focuses faster, but the image isn't as clear as the M9's. I'd rather take an extra second to focus over a washed out picture.
both piece of shit. the S6 smells better.
S6
S6 is a nice phone, beautiful camera and screen on it, but after some drop tests even the I6 out performed the device, you couldn't even turn on the samsung any-more. One devices have 1/2 best phone manufacturers for speaker and sound quality and HTC feels better. But this is 2015, phone's not lasting more then 1 day is so 1.5 years ago(s4/M7 days) no camera is a dlsr and wireless charging is cool but as a power user I want a bigger battery over thinness. after the Note 3 and Passport, hard to go back to anything less.
Samsung phones=crap.
Should I sell my Samsung S4 and go for the HTC M8? I really like the design of the phone, the speakers and Sense UI. I kind of drifted away from Samsung. Too much bloatware and TouchWiz's a heavy UI…
Can someone reply.. How much is the full retail price to buy the phone instead of renting it or paying monthly bills? I only wanna spend $200 for a phone. Please respond ty!
